The course is an overview of contemporary data systems and how these systems are used throughout global organizations. The focus of this course are the essential components of information systems - people, software, hardware, data, and procedure, and how these components can be integrated and managed to create a competitive advantage. Through this data students will improve an awareness of how information is used in establishing and how IT allows improvement in quality, speed, and agility.
