About This Course

This is the beginning of two sequential courses in writing covering various theories. This course emphasizes developing skills for learning the stages of writing, including pre-writing, arranging, drafting, revising and editing. Students are required to write a minimum of 5,000 words through writing activities, formal essays, and a documented paper. Students should be prepared to write in this course and have their work examined through instructor conferences.
